Accepting these terms
By installing, signing in to or using ZRemote Control, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the software.
If you are using ZRemote on behalf of a company, you confirm that you may accept these terms for it.
Your account
A ZRemote Cloud account is what links your phone to your computers. One account, one person: it is not made to be shared, and the device limit is counted per account.
You are responsible for the password. Anyone who has it can reach the computers you linked. Choose a password you do not use anywhere else, and use the session list in your account area if you suspect someone else got in.
You must give a working e-mail address. It is how password recovery works, and it is the only way we can reach you.
Authorised use — read this one
You may use ZRemote only to control computers you own, or computers whose owner has explicitly authorised you to control.
ZRemote is built to be visible: the PC shows a notice when someone connects and the tray icon is always present. Do not defeat that. A remote-control tool used in secret on someone else’s machine is not a product feature — it is an intrusion, and in most countries it is a crime.
- No access to any system without the owner’s authorisation.
- No use for fraud, impersonation or theft of credentials or data.
- No use to intrude into, break into, or probe systems you do not control.
- No surveillance of another person without their knowledge and consent.
- No use that violates another person’s privacy.
- No unlawful use of any kind, and no use that breaks the law where you are or where the computer is.
- No attempt to defeat the licensing checks, the encryption, the entitlement signature or the connection notice.
Devices and plans
Each plan allows a number of linked computers: Free links one, Plus links two, Premium links five. The limit applies to computers linked to your account — there is no separate cap on how many phones or tablets you use to control them.
Plans also differ in remote use over the internet: Free is for your own local network, Plus includes a monthly allowance for remote use, and Premium includes unlimited remote use with connection priority. The current details are shown in the app before you subscribe.
You can unlink a computer at any time from the account area, which frees a slot.
Security on your side
Keep the apps updated. Keep your phone locked. Do not install the Windows app on a computer you do not control, and do not leave it running on a shared machine where anyone could pair a phone with it.
If you lose a device, sign out everywhere from the account area and change your password. That invalidates the tokens that device was holding.
The remote service
On your own Wi-Fi, your phone talks to your PC directly and we are not in the path. Away from it, ZRemote Cloud helps the two find each other, and when a direct path is not possible your traffic is relayed through our server — still encrypted end to end, so we forward it without being able to read it.
Relay capacity is finite and is applied according to your plan. Whether a direct path is possible depends on your network, your router and your carrier, and is not something we can promise.
Availability
We work to keep ZRemote Cloud available, but we do not offer a service-level guarantee. Maintenance, provider outages, network conditions and forces outside our control can interrupt the service.
The Windows app keeps working on your local network during a Cloud outage, and it holds its entitlement for a short offline period so a temporary outage does not lock you out of your own computer.
Subscriptions and payment
Subscriptions are sold inside the Android app through Google Play. Google is the seller of record, handles the payment, and shows you the price, the billing period and any free-trial terms before you confirm. We never see or hold your card details.
A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. The price and period that apply are the ones shown at the moment you subscribe.
If a free trial is offered, it converts into a paid period unless you cancel before it ends — the Play purchase screen states the deadline.
The Windows agent is free to install and does not sell anything by itself: it is the half that runs on the computer you want to control. What it allows depends on the plan of the account signed in to it.
Cancelling and refunds
Cancel at any time in Google Play, under Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; the plan keeps working until the end of the period you already paid for, and we do not cut it short.
Refunds are handled by Google under the Google Play refund policy, because Google took the payment. If a refund is granted, the plan drops back to Free.
Statutory rights you have as a consumer — including the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code and the EU right of withdrawal — apply regardless of the above, and nothing here removes them.
Intellectual property
ZRemote Control, its name, its logo, its interface and its code belong to us. You get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use the software on the devices your plan allows.
The software is licensed, not sold. You may not resell it, rent it, sublicense it, redistribute modified copies, or reverse engineer it except where the law expressly allows.
Termination
You can stop at any time: uninstall the apps, and delete your account from the account area if you want the data gone as well.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms — in particular the authorised-use rules — or that puts the service or other people at risk. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will say why.
Warranty and liability
The software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for lost data, lost profits, or indirect or consequential damages. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top will change and material changes will appear in the release notes. If you keep using ZRemote after a change, the updated terms apply. If you do not accept them, stop using the software and, if you wish, delete your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
